10-Day Nepal Tour Package Overview

This private nine-night journey covers Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, and Pokhara without requiring high-altitude trekking. Travellers stay in each destination rather than returning to Kathmandu after every visit.

Kathmandu introduces major religious landmarks before an overnight stay in Nagarkot. Chitwan adds two nights for wildlife and cultural activities. Pokhara provides three nights for guided sightseeing, lakeside time, and optional experiences.

Road journeys connect Nagarkot, Chitwan, and Pokhara. A domestic flight returns travellers from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Traffic, weather, and flight conditions may affect daily schedules.

The tour requires no previous hiking experience. However, some temples, heritage areas, caves, and viewpoints involve steps or uneven surfaces. Families and senior travellers can request slower pacing. Hotels, activities, meals, and transport can also be adjusted before booking.

Trip Highlights

  • Explore Kathmandu’s cultural and religious landmarks with a knowledgeable local guide.
  • Visit Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath during the Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour.
  • Stay overnight in Nagarkot and watch a weather-dependent Himalayan sunrise.
  • Join guided wildlife and birdwatching activities near Chitwan National Park.
  • Learn about Tharu traditions, community life, and local cultural practices.
  • Discover Phewa Lake, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, and the World Peace Pagoda.
  • Enjoy a free day for relaxation or optional activities around Pokhara Lakeside.

Best Time for This Nepal Tour

Spring and autumn usually provide the most comfortable conditions for this 10-day Nepal Tour Package. March to May brings warmer days, flowering landscapes, and suitable conditions for sightseeing and wildlife activities.

October to November often offers clearer skies, moderate temperatures, and better chances of Himalayan views. December to February has colder mornings and evenings, especially in Nagarkot. Daytime sightseeing remains comfortable with suitable clothing.

June to September brings monsoon rainfall, humidity, and cloudy skies. Rain may affect roads, mountain views, outdoor activities, and flights. This tour operates year-round, but each season provides different weather, scenery, and crowd levels.

Accommodation and Meals During the Tour

The package includes nine nights in four-star hotels. Travellers stay three nights in Kathmandu, one in Nagarkot, two in Chitwan, and three in Pokhara. Your quotation will confirm hotel names, room categories, bedding preferences, and requested upgrades.

Breakfast is included each morning. Lunches and dinners remain excluded, except for the included farewell dinner in Kathmandu. Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara offer both Nepali and international food choices. Nagarkot dining options may be more limited.

Share allergies, vegetarian preferences, and other dietary requirements with the booking team before confirmation. Hotel and restaurant kitchens may handle several allergens. Travellers with serious allergies should explain their requirements clearly before travelling.

Transportation During the Nepal Tour

Airport transfers and sightseeing use a suitable tourist vehicle based on the confirmed group size. Kathmandu to Nagarkot usually takes about two hours. Nagarkot to Chitwan may require six to eight hours. Chitwan to Pokhara usually takes five to seven hours.

Traffic, road repairs, weather, and rest stops can affect these estimates. Keep water and essential medicines in your day bag. The return journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu uses a domestic flight. Flights may face delays or cancellations during poor weather. Travellers planning extra nights can review how to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu by road or air.

Your quotation will confirm the flight schedule, airport taxes, baggage allowance, and alternatives during delays or cancellations.

Nepal Tour Package Difficulty and Fitness Requirements

This tour has an easy grade and requires no trekking or previous hiking experience. Daily activities include short walks, temple steps, uneven heritage paths, cave visits, and boarding wildlife-viewing vehicles.

Nagarkot is the highest overnight location at approximately 2,175 metres. Cold mornings may require warm clothing. Travellers should feel comfortable walking slowly during sightseeing and sitting through longer road journeys.

Families, seniors, and travellers with limited mobility can request a slower pace or adjusted sightseeing. Share any mobility concerns or medical conditions before booking. This helps the team arrange suitable transport, rooms, and activities.

Nepal Visa and Travel Documents

Nepal visa requirements depend on each traveller’s nationality and passport. Eligible travellers can obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Others must apply before travelling.

Your passport must remain valid for at least six months from your arrival date in Nepal.

Carry your passport, flight details, hotel information, insurance documents, and printed copies of important bookings. Nepal visa fees are not included in the package price.

Check current eligibility, fees, and documents through Nepal’s Department of Immigration before departure.

Health, Safety, and Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended because medical treatment and unexpected travel changes are not included in the package. Choose coverage for emergency treatment, evacuation, cancellations, flight delays, and lost baggage.

Confirm whether your policy covers domestic flights, wildlife activities, and any optional adventures you select. Carry essential medicines in your hand luggage. Bring prescriptions and enough medication for the entire journey.

Consult your doctor before travelling regarding vaccinations, medication, and personal health requirements. During Chitwan activities, follow your naturalist’s instructions and maintain a safe distance from wildlife.

What to Pack for the 10-Day Nepal Tour

Packing needs vary by season because Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, and Pokhara have different temperatures.

Bring these practical items:

  • Comfortable walking shoes with reliable grip.
  • Breathable clothing for warm conditions, plus seasonal layers for Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • Warm layers for cooler Nagarkot mornings and evenings.
  • A waterproof jacket or umbrella during the monsoon.
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sun hat.
  • Insect repellent and long-sleeved clothing for Chitwan.
  • A small day bag and reusable water bottle.
  • Personal medicines and copies of prescriptions.
  • A universal travel adapter and power bank.
  • Passport copies, insurance details, and emergency contacts.
  • Binoculars for wildlife viewing in Chitwan.

Avoid overpacking because domestic flight baggage limits may differ from international allowances.

Money, Internet, and Practical Travel Information

The Nepalese rupee is the local currency. Cards are accepted at many hotels and larger restaurants. ATMs are common in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Availability may be limited around Nagarkot and some parts of Chitwan.

Carry some cash for meals, entrance extras, local shops, tips, and personal purchases. Most hotels provide Wi-Fi, although speed and reliability vary. Local SIM cards are available after passport registration.

Carry a universal travel adapter and power bank for phones, cameras, and other devices. Use filtered, boiled, or safely treated drinking water. Refill your reusable bottle through verified hotel or restaurant refill points. Avoid drinking untreated tap water.

Tipping is voluntary and is not included in the package price. Ask the local team for current guidance before travelling. Travellers should decide the final amount based on the service received.

Nepal not only tracking Cultural and historical visit to Nepal. Even without tracking, through the agency, we visited some great places. From Pokahara with its lake of great peace, underground caves and waterfall in the city center. Chitwan National Park, where we admired numerous rhinos, crocodiles, monkeys, fallow deer, wild boars and numerous species of birds. Kathmandu, beyond the particular city center Themal with numerous shops at great prices we walked the streets of three old towns. One the old capital, the oldest town dates back to 3400 BC. The funeral center, an intimate experience, on the bank of the sacred river place the bodies on wooden pyres and after a short ritual cremate them then throwing the ashes into the river. Not least and touching is the visit to the Buddhist temple of Boudhanath, turn around and admire it leaves a great peace inside and reflects the smile of the Nepalese people.
