Encounter Nepal Tour, also known as The Nepal Tibet Tour, is an extraordinary journey that combines the spiritual richness, cultural diversity, and natural grandeur of two of Asia’s most captivating destinations. Perfectly curated for travelers seeking a deeper connection with the Himalayan region, this tour offers a seamless blend of Nepal’s ancient heritage and Tibet’s mystical landscapes.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, guests are welcomed with traditional Nepalese hospitality, complete with flower garlands. After settling into their hotel, they are briefed on the exciting itinerary ahead and invited to an evening reception to kick off the tour.

Nepal Tibet Tour

In Kathmandu, the tour unveils the city’s historical treasures, such as the Swayambhunath and Boudhanath stupas, and the architectural marvels of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur. These sites not only offer a glimpse into Nepal’s past but also provide a stage for observing daily religious practices.

The adventure continues to Bandipur, celebrated for its preserved culture and panoramic views. Then, it’s on to Dhampus, where the traditions of the Gurung community come alive against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas.

After soaking in the tranquility of Pokhara and its landmarks like the World Peace Pagoda, the tour crosses into Tibet. The drive through the Himalayas is a visual feast, with stops in towns like Shigatse and Gyantse and visits to significant monasteries such as Tashilhunpo and Kumbum.

In Lhasa, the spiritual heart of Tibet, travelers explore the iconic Potala Palace, the sacred Jokhang Temple, and the bustling Barkhor Street. These sites are not just architectural wonders but also repositories of Tibetan Buddhist culture. The tour culminates with a flight from Lhasa to Chengdu, marking the end of an extraordinary exploration of the Himalayan corridor.

With memories of ancient cities, serene landscapes, and spiritual encounters, guests depart with a profound connection to the region’s heritage. This tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring landscape formed by the collision of tectonic plates, adapt to altitude changes gradually, and experience the cultural communication and integration of the Himalayan people. With the highest point reaching 5,200 meters (17,060 feet) above sea level, it’s a journey that ascends to the very roof of the world.

This stupa also relates itself to the history of creation of Kathmandu Valley as how Manjushree, a Buddhist monk, saw a huge lotus emanating bright light at the centre of the lake. So he cut a deep gorge allowing the water to drain from the lake because he wanted to observe and worship the lotus where it is said that Swyambhunath is situated.

    Kathmandu Durbar Square

Nepal not only tracking Cultural and historical visit to Nepal. Even without tracking, through the agency, we visited some great places. From Pokahara with its lake of great peace, underground caves and waterfall in the city center. Chitwan National Park, where we admired numerous rhinos, crocodiles, monkeys, fallow deer, wild boars and numerous species of birds. Kathmandu, beyond the particular city center Themal with numerous shops at great prices we walked the streets of three old towns. One the old capital, the oldest town dates back to 3400 BC. The funeral center, an intimate experience, on the bank of the sacred river place the bodies on wooden pyres and after a short ritual cremate them then throwing the ashes into the river. Not least and touching is the visit to the Buddhist temple of Boudhanath, turn around and admire it leaves a great peace inside and reflects the smile of the Nepalese people.
