Technically there is no restrictions for trekking in Nepal .You can go for trekking at any time of the year .The best season for trekking in Nepal will be based on elevation that you are choosing to go for .

There are generally 4 seasons in Nepal and each of the season have their own attractions . You need to prepare yourself differently depending on the season and time you are going for trekking .

You need to know what kind of the weather is suitable for you also , the flow of the trekkers will vary depending upon the season .In some season we can see large number of trekkers whereas some season are very quite with less number of trekkers .

Best season for trekking in Nepal are classified under the following headings :

Autumn Season ( September to November)

It lasts for 3 months that is September,October and November.This season is considered as the best season for trekking in Nepal .This season is considered to have excellent weather condition and the travelers can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the mountains . In this season we can see relatively large number of tourists compared to other seasons .This season is considered as the best season because the weather is really very awesome . The temperature is very moderate and you don’t need to carry heavy clothes for trekking.

Winter Season ( December to February )

Spring (March to May )
