Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome by our representative at the airport, transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Later enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

After having our breakfast, we are going to do some sightseeing activities today. As planned, we will explore some of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites inside Kathmandu valley. Upon finishing our tour, we shall then drive back to your hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Drive to Tikhedhunga and Trek to Ulleri (1,350m)

Today we begin our adventure packed trek with a 7-hour long drive to Pokhara city- a wonderland for foreign trekkers. Situated at an elevation of 827 meters above sea level, Pokhara is about 200 km far away from the capital city in the northwest direction. Our major part of the day will be taken by our scenic drive but it will help us witness changing landscapes and beautiful rivers, hills of Nepal. From Pokhara, we will take a drive to Tikhedhunga and then start trekking to Ulleri village.

Day 04: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,860m)

Moving from Ulleri, we are now going to traverse our way through a lush green trail towards Ghorepani village following a scenic route that encompasses most of the trekking routes. Our journey towards Ghorepani will provide us heartwarming natural scenery of the Himalayan mountains such as Mt. Annapurna South and Himalchuli. Then, we need to cross a stream over a suspension bridge and from that point onward our trail begins to become steep. So, we need to hike up on stony stairs for the remainder of the day and reach Ghorepani village.

Day 05: Trek from Trek from Ghorepani to Tatopani via Poonhill (3,210)

Ghorepani is one of the most tourist friendly places inside Annapurna region. The abundance of natural and cultural presence inside Ghorepani village will captivate your eyes and souls. In addition to that, there’s a small hill near by Ghorepani village which lets you to observe the breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Annapurna mountain range. That place is called Poon hill and the hike to the top of Poon hill will not take much time. However, we do need to wake up early and go for a short morning walk to the top of Poonhill in order to see the iconic Himalayan sunrise. After that, we will descend back down to Ghorepani and then continue heading further to Tatopani village.

Day 06: Trek from Tatopani to Ghasa (2,020m)

Continuing on, our trekking from Tatopani village will move us further towards Ghasa village. But before doing that, we are going to wake up and have our breakfast in the charming village of Tatopani. After having our breakfast and enjoying the natural scenery around us, we shall now carry our bags and follow the Kali Gandaki river and travel to Ghasa for the night stay. Upon reaching Ghasa village, we shall check into one of the local lodges and enjoy a hearty meal.

Day 07: Trek from Ghasa to Tukche (2,590m)

It is day seven and now we are going to continue trekking onward to Tukche village from Ghasa. We shall wake up at the usual time and then continue following the Kali Gandaki gorge. Marching onward, we will initially pass through Lete and Larjung villages. Ascending through the inclined terrain, we shall then hike up to Tukche and reach there after walking for 1 hour from Larjung village.

Day 08: Trek from Tukche to Yak Kharka (4,930m)

After spending a night at Tukche village, we shall now head towards Yak Kharka. On our way to Yak Kharka, we will gain immense amount of elevation and cross the 4,000-meter mark as well. Today we will have to take our steps cautiously as we might feel heavy exhaustion that can make trekking from here much difficult. With the increase of altitude, trekkers can succumb to Altitude Sickness. Hence, we are going to take our time while making our way to Yak Kharka.

Day 09 :Acclimatization at Yak Kharka (rest day)

Acclimatization is very important for trekkers who wish to go beyond 3,000 meters above sea level. As altitude gets higher, trekking in general becomes a lot harder and makes it difficult to perform normal daily activities such as walking. Therefore, acclimatization becomes vital for trekking further and higher than 4,000 meters above sea level. In addition to that, our bodies also need to get adjusted with the surrounded environment so staying at Yak Kharka is good for trekkers health.

Day 10:Trek from Yak Kharka to Dhampus/Thapa Peak Base Camp (5,150m)

Today we will leave Yak Kharka and head towards Thapa Peak Base Camp which is situated at a high altitude of 5,150 meters above sea level. We follow our trail that takes us through alpine vegetation and provides awe-inspiring mountain views of the majestic Himalayan peaks.

Day 11: Base camp – Thapa Peak Summit (6,012m)

Today is the most anticipated day of journey to Thapa Peak as we plan on summitting Thapa Peak. So, after waking up early in the morning, we will ascend on a glaciated trail to High Camp. After High Camp, we will climb further to the summit using ropes, harness, crampons and other climbing gears. Later, we will retrace our steps back down to Base Camp for the night.

Day 12: Trek from Basecamp to Marpha (2,670m)

We will now traverse on a snowy terrain and head down to Marpha village. En-route we shall pass through Yak Kharka. All in all, it will take us about 5 hours to reach Marpha- the Apple Garden village of western Nepal. The trail will change after some while of walking but we will

Day 13: Drive from Marpha to Pokhara

Today we will take a drive back to Pokhara from Marpha. Upon reaching Pokhara, we shall check into our rooms and stay relaxed for the remaining time period.

Day 14: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

After completing our trek, we are now going to drive off to Kathmandu city which is about 200 km away from Pokhara. Hence, it can take us more than 7 hours to reach.
